Vermont Compost Company was founded and supported by organic crop-growing professionals to meet the need for high quality composts and compost-based, living soil mixes for certified organic plant production. We are committed to solving the problems of producing vigorous plants by organic methods. We make our composts and blended soils from materials selected with the benefit of many years of experience in stewarding the soil life of our farms. All of our products are designed to provide long-term benefit to the soil life of the farm where they go back into the ground. We composters stand as gatekeepers to the soils which we steward. The grower entrusts the composter with important responsibility for the long-term health of the soil community.
