All orders are prioritized on a first-call, first-served basis. Before visiting our farm, please be sure your vehicle is not leaking fluids (gasoline, diesel, brake, transmission, coolant, etc.). We ask that trucks arrive clean without any soil-contaminating residuals in the bed (i.e. road salt, hay chaff, gasoline, etc.). We recommend bringing a clean tarp with you to put both under and over the soil for transport and unloading.
For your personal safety, all humans must exit the vehicle while it is being loaded. We ask all visitors to please keep animals inside their vehicles. We use heavy equipment and other machinery on-site throughout the business day, which can easily create a dangerous situation for our staff, our customers, and their pets. We thank you for not smoking on site.
Bulk Soil Pickups
- We fill trucks and trailers with open beds (no caps; ladder racks are okay). We use heavy equipment to load your soil–no shoveling is required.
- We do not load bulk into cars, vans, or small containers.
- The minimum quantity we sell is one cubic yard.
- Please check your truck's Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (info can usually be found on the inside driver side door of your vehicle). One yard of compost weighs 1,250 lbs. Most trucks can safely transport one or two yards.
Pricing for Bulk Soil

Manure Compost: $139 per yard
Perennial Blend (recommended for filling raised beds): $270 per yard
Fort Vee & Fort Light potting soils: $290 per yard
Pallet Pickups
Pallets can be loaded on the back of trucks or in trailers. You must check your truck's Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (info can usually be found on the inside driver side door of your vehicle). Our pallets are a standard 48”x 40”. Most trucks can fit 1 or 2 pallets, depending on size and weight rating.
